IP addresses and MAC addresses can be used rather than the host names in the Monitor windows to identify the hosts.

Procedure 1

1. Open [Options] dialog box.
2. Click [Display Host Name] item in the tree view in the left of the dialog box.
3. Clear all the check boxes (shown below) in the [Name to display] region.
• [User Defined Name]
• [NetBIOS Name]
• [NIS Name]
• [DNS Name]

Procedure 2

1. Choose [Search Host Name...] from the [Tool] menu of the Main window, or press <Ctrl-L> key.
2. Click [Set Display Preference...] button.
3. Clear all the check boxes in [Display Host Name] dialog box.

Procedure 3

1. Choose [MAC Address Book] or [IP Address Book] from [Edit] menu of the Main window.
2. Right-click on the address book.
3. Choose [Set Display Preference...].
4. Clear all the check boxes in [Display Host Name] dialog box.
