You can display host names instead of IP addresses in the decode and stream views. ASTEC Eyes searches for a host name using the name services: DNS, WINS (NetBIOS), and/or NIS.

Procedure

1. Right-click a row of the Summary pane which contains an IP address in the address column, in a decode or stream view.
2. Choose [Search Host Name].
3. Choose [DNS], [NetBIOS], or [NIS (domain name)].

Note

• You need to specify the NIS domain name before choosing [NIS (domain name)].
