If more than one host name is registered by multiple name services for one IP address, you can specify the host name to be used.

Procedure 1

1. Choose [MAC Address Book] or [IP Address Book] from the [Edit] menu of the Main window.
2. Double-click on a cell you want to configure.
3. Select a name from the drop down list.

Procedure 2

1. Choose [MAC Address Book] or [IP Address Book] from the [Edit] menu of the Main window.
2. Move the white frame to a cell you want to configure by <>, <>, <>, and <> key.
3. Press <F2> key.
4. Select a name by <> or <> key, and press <Enter> key.

Note

• If more than one host name is registered by one name service, or more than one user-defined name is registered, the number of candidates will be shown in parentheses on the right-hand side of the cell, and the host names are listed in the tool tip.
