2.1.4 Displaying the Logs under the Directory You Specified
You can display the logs specifying the directory.
You can display logs even if you change the directory where log data is saved or move log data to another directory.
You can also copy log files to the localhost from other hosts running ASTEC Eyes or the Remote Module, and display the log.
Procedure 1
- Choose [Open Log Directory...] from the [File] menu of the Main window.
- Specify the directory where log files are saved.
- Right-click on a log entry.
- Choose [Log...].
- Specify the period to be covered and the plotting interval.
- Click [Display chart...] button.
- Choose a type of log.
Procedure 2
- Right-click on an open space in the Interface Selector window.
- Choose [Open Log Directory...].
- Specify the directory where log files are saved.
- Right-click on a log entry.
- Choose [Log...].
- Specify the period to be covered and the plotting interval.
- Click [Display chart...] button.
- Choose a type of log.

You can change the display format of a chart and/or use the monitor filter
in a Log window, with the same operations as
in a Monitor window which displays real-time traffic.

in a Log window for events, with the same operations as
in a Event Viewer.

When you display the logs under the specified directory,
a log entry
is created under the
folder entry.
