4.2.10 Decoding Continuous Capture Data of Specified Period on a Log Window
If you have both
log data
and continuous capture data for the same interface and period,
you can decode the continuous capture data, specifying the period on the Log window.
List logs corresponding to the continuous capture data.
Display logs .
Display capture data indicator on the Log window .
Specify the period and decode captured data .
List Logs Corresponding to the Continuous Capture Data
Procedure 1
Right-click on a
host entry
in the Interface Selector window
Choose [List L ogs].
Right-click on a host entry.
Choose [List C ontinuous Captures].
Procedure 2
Choose [Open L og Directory...] from the [F ile] menu of the Main window.
Specify the directory where log files are saved.
Choose [Open C ontinuous Capture Directory...] from the [F ile] menu of the Main window.
Specify the directory where continuous capture file are saved.
Attach the continuous capture data to log data .
Procedure 3
Right-click on an open space in the Interface Selector window.
Choose [Open L og Directory...].
Specify the directory where log files are saved.
Right-click on an open space in the Interface Selector window.
Choose [Open C ontinuous Capture Directory...].
Specify the directory where continuous capture files are saved.
Attach the continuous capture data to log data .
Display Capture Data Indicator
Procedure 1
Display a line chart .
Click [Captured Data Indicator] button ( ) on the toolbar of the Log window.
Procedure 2
Display a line chart .
Right-click on a window and choose [Capture Data I ndicator].
Note
Clicking [Captured Data Indicator] button ( ) will display
capture data indicator .
Clicking [Captured Data Indicator] button ( ) once again will hide
capture data indicator.
Specify the Period and Decode Captured Data
Procedure
Click [Read Values in Chart] button ( ) on the toolbar of the Log window.
Click [Vertical Hair Cursor] button ( ).
Specify the starting and ending time to decode by dragging the mouse.
Click [New Decode View] button ( ).
