You can associate continuous capture files with log files, by attaching a continuous capture data entry to a log entry. Both of them can be under any directory you specified.

In order to decode continuous capture data for the period specified on a Log window, display the Log window after the corresponding continuous capture data entry is attached.

Attaching Continuous Capture Data to Log Data

Procedure

Drag an icon of continuous capture data entry in the Interface Selector window and drop it on a log entry.

Detaching Continuous Capture Data from Log Data

Procedure

1. Right-click on a continuous capture data entry.
2. Choose [Detach Log].

Note

• You need to attach continuous capture data to log data collected for the same interface. To do so, attach the continuous capture entry to the log entry whose NIC ID displayed on the property window is the same as that for the continuous capture entry.
