1. Click [Packet Edit Window] button () on the toolbar of the decode view showing the data to transmit. Packet Edit window will appear.
2. Edit packets.
3. Click [Send Packets] button () on the toolbar.
4. Transmit packets from [Packet Generation] dialog box.

Editing packets

Procedure

1. Click the packet you want to edit in Summary pane with the mouse.
2. Click the data you want to edit in Dump pane with the mouse.
3. Enter the new value in hexadecimal numbers.

Transmitting packets

Procedure

1. Customize the transmission procedure of packets, if necessary .
2. Click [Apply] button.
3. Click [Start] button.

Note

• Editing a packet will display * mark in [Frame ID] column of Summary pane.
• Click [Update Decode View] button () on the toolbar, to update Packet Detail pane to show the result of the edition.
• You need to click [Apply] button, even when you do not change the transmission procedure.
