9.3.1 Configuring the Monitor Events to Detect
You can specify events you need to detect, and specify threshold values,
using [Host Properties] dialog box.
The configuration should be done for each interface.
Procedure

Get configuration privileges,
if you don't have these privileges.

Open [Host Properties] dialog box.
- Click [Expert] tab.
- Click on a target interface.

Select the check boxes of [Detect] column
in the [Event detection and alerting] region,
for the events you want to be detected.
- Enter threshold values if you want to detect the following events:
- TCP window frozen
- TCP long ack time
- TCP connection table threshold over
- MAC traffic under threshold
Create and apply an event filter, if you want to add
further conditions to detect events.
Procedure

Open the filter editor by right clicking on [Event] column and
selecting [Filter Editor...].
- Create [
Event Filter].
- Right click on [Event] column of the event you want to add
further conditon(s) to, and select the filter just created.
