3.5.1 Synchronizing Capture Time
There are two ways to synchronize the capture time with GUI's system time:
- Synchronize the capture time of a specific host.
- Synchronize the capture time of all the hosts with the
configuration privileges.
Synchronize the capture time of a specific host
Procedure
- Right-click on a
host entry
in the Interface Selector window.
- Choose [Synchronize Capture Time].
Note
- The capture time of "localhost" may differ considerably from
the system time.
Synchronize the capture time as needed.
- You cannot choose [Synchronize Capture Time] for the hosts without the configuration
privileges. Get
configuration privileges beforehand.
Synchronize the capture time of all the hosts with the
configuration privileges
Procedure
- Right-click on an open space in the Interface Selector window.
- Choose [Synchronize Capture Time].
The hosts whose capture time is synchronized will be listed in
Message window.
