17.3 Changing Voice Quality Calculation Mode

There are following three modes for calculating voice quality.

Calculation of voice quality is done in [automatic mode] by default. You can choose from the three modes shown above.

Changing the mode of voice quality calculation for charts and tables

Procedure

Click [Switch Calculation Mode] button ( ) on the toolbar of a chart or a table displaying voice quality. Clicking one of those buttons will change the mode for calculating voice quality.

Configuring the table displaying voice quality

In [VoIP Quality(Detail)] table, the values in some columns are calcuated differently according to voice quality calculation mode. The values in the other columns are calculated based on the information from certain pre-determined protocol.
The columns whose values are calcuated differently according to voice quality calculation mode are shown by default. The columns calculated from RTCP or RTP can be displayed, too.

Procedure

  1. Right click on one of the column headers of [VoIP Quality(Detail)] table.
  2. Select [Columns...].
  3. Select or clear the check box corresponding to the column you want to show or hide.
