1.4.5 Displaying Network Utilization and Peak Value
You can view the network utilization when you set the unit for the Y axis of "MAC Traffic" to the "utilization".
Procedure
- Right-click on a "MAC Traffic" window.
- Choose [Unit].
- Choose [Utilization].
When you choose "byte" or "utilization" as unit for Y axis, and the time span of "MAC Traffic" window is "middle" or "long", the peak value of the traffic will be shown as the dashed line in lavender.

Change the time span of "MAC Traffic" to "middle" or "long".
- Right-click on the window.
- Choose [Unit].
- Choose [Byte] or [Utilization].
Note

The network utilization is calculated assuming Ethernet.
The displayed utilization may not be correct with any media other than Ethernet.

The remote module may not tell the link speed of the network it is monitoring.
In such a case, [Link Speed] dialog box appears and inquire about the link speed.
