1. Open Packet Transmission Window.
2. Add a packet.
3. Click [Append...] menu.
4. Edit a packet.
5. Click [Send...] button.
6. Transmit packet(s) from [Send Packet] dialog box.

Select [Packet Generation...] from [Tool] menu of Main window.

Adding a packet

Procedure

1. Click [Append...] menu.
2. Select the type of a packet to add.

Editing a packet

Procedure 1

1. Click a packet to edit.
2. Click data you want to edit in [Packet] region with the mouse.
3. Enter the new value in hexadecimal numbers.

Procedure 2

1. Selecting ICMP as type from [Append...] menu will display [Parameters of generated packet] dialog box.
2. Specify [Length] in [Data] region.
3. Click data to edit with the mouse.
4. Enter the new value in hexadecimal numbers.
