3.1.10 Configuring Capture Buffer Full Action
You can choose one from the two actions taken when the capture buffer is full; wrapping the buffer and pausing capture.
Wrapping buffer will overwrite new data on the oldest one in the buffer.
Pausing capture will stop capturing automatically.
Procedure

Open [Options] dialog box.

Click [Capture] item in the tree view in the left of the dialog box.
- Select a target interface from the [Interface] list.
- Choose either [Wrap buffer] or [Pause capture].
Note

In realtime decode mode, the packets will be dropped when the capture
buffer is full.
realtime decode view will highlight in orange the row after the
packet drop occurred.
