You can use automatic deletion which keeps the latest packets without pausing continuous capture. When the free hard disk space becomes less, the oldest capture file will be deleted and newly captured data will be saved.

Procedure

1. Open [Host Properties] dialog box.
2. Click on [Continuous Capture] tab.
3. Select [Delete automatically] check box and enter the lower limit of the free hard disk space to start deleting older files into [Disk space] field.

Note

• Specify a value for [Disk space] larger than the value for [Automatic stop].
