2.2.1 Configuring Output Interval and Number of Log Entries in a File
A log entry is created at the specified interval, and the specified number of log entries are written into a log file.
Procedure
-
Open [Host Properties] dialog box.
- Click on [Log] tab.
-
Specify [Output interval] in minutes,
and the number of log entries to be written into a file in [Number of entries in file].
Note
-
Log data can only be used after all the entries in a log file are written.
Therefore the latency period is [Output interval] x [Number of entries in file].
The larger the values of [Output interval] and [Number of entries in file] are,
the longer it will take before the log data can be retrieved and displayed.
