16.6 Keyboard Operations within a Decode or Stream View

Moves the focus on the decode view or the stream view among the Summary, Packet Detail, and Dump panes.

Moves the focus one row up or down. Moves toward a lower or higher address.

Moves the focus one cell left or right. Moves toward a lower or higher address.

When a vertical scroll bar is shown, scrolls up or down. Works in the same way as <> or <>.

When a horizontal scroll bar is shown, scrolls left or right. Works in the same way as <> or <>.

Effective only in the decode view. The packets that correspond to the currently selected record in the stream view are highlighted. You can jump back and forth among the highlighted packet with these keys.
<Page Up>
<Page Down>
Moves the focus position one page up or down. Moves the displayed area one page up or down.
<Home> Selects the first row. Scrolls up to show the lowest address.
<End> Selects the last row. Scrolls down to show the highest address.
<Z> If all of the three panes are displayed, the pane with the focus will be expanded to the full window size. Conversely, if only one pane is displayed, all of the three panes will be shown.

Whichever pane the focus is set to, these keys work as <>, <>, <Home>, and <End> keys do respectively for the Summary pane with the focus set.

When a vertical scroll bar is shown in the Summary pane, scrolls up or down, whichever pane the focus is set to.

When a horizontal scroll bar is shown in the Summary pane, scrolls left or right, whichever pane the focus is set to.
<Ctrl-C> Copies the content of the selected cell to the clipboard. Copies the contents of the reversed area to the clipboard.
<Space> Toggles the check box between selected or cleared.

<Ctrl-G> Moves to the row specified by the frame id.
<Ctrl-S> Saves the decoded capture data into a file.
<Ctrl-T> Toggles Summary pane between shown and hidden.
<Ctrl-M> Toggles Packet Detail pane between shown and hidden.
<Ctrl-B> Toggles Dump pane between shown and hidden.
