4.3.1 Saving Decoded Data
You can save the captured data displayed on a decode view.
Even if the captured data in a capture buffer are discarded or changed after creating the decode view, you can save the snapshot of the capture buffer at the time of decoding.
Procedure
- Click on a decode view.
-
Choose [Save Capture Data...] from the [File] menu of the Main window, or press <Ctrl-S> key.
-
Specify the file name and format, and then click [Save] button.
Note
-
You can save the captured data as uncompressed Sniffer format (extension is .enc),
or Sniffer format compressed by "bzip2" (extension is .ebz).
-
Trying to close a decode view without saving the decoded data will show an [ASTEC Eyes] dialog box, prompting you to save the data.
If you close the window holding down <Shift> key,
the [ASTEC Eyes] dialog box will not appear and the data will be lost.
