A convenience filter is applied for the packets or records currently displayed on a decode or stream view. Therefore, you can apply an additional convenience filter to the result of any convenience filter, getting the result of the conditions combined by logical AND operation.

You can use the check boxes of [Frame ID] column of decode view or [Stream ID] column of stream view, to get the result of the conditions combined by logical OR operation.

Procedure

1. Apply a first filter.
2. Click on the column header of [Frame ID] or [Stream ID].
3. Choose [(Set Check Marks)].
4. Click [Discard Filter] button () on a toolbar.
5. Apply a second filter.
6. Click on the column header of [Frame ID] or [Stream ID].
7. Choose [(Set Check Marks)].
8. Click [Discard Filter] button () on a toolbar.
9. Click on the column header of [Frame ID] or [Stream ID].
10. Choose (check mark).
