6.3.11 Aligning Dots Vertically of IP Address

If IP addresses are set to align dots, the dots will be vertically aligned and the digits will be right-adjusted as follows.

IPv4 address
not aligned
192.168.11.1
192.168.100.22
aligned
192.168. 11.1.
192.168. 100.22.
For IPv6 address, an address "2002:3d79:c191:c::1" in abbreviated notation will be shown as "2002:3d79:c191:000c:0000:0000:0000:0001".

Procedure

  1. Right-click on an address book.
  2. Choose [View].
  3. Choose [Arrange]. Selecting once again will restore the default display.
