You can use host names instead of IP or MAC addresses to identify hosts in a monitor window, decode view, and so on. The search results of DNS, NetBIOS and NIS are available for a host name. The user-defined name is also available for a host name. The address book can be used, in order to confirm the correspondence of an address and a host name, or to manage it.
